Update May 2014

Report from the Swedish Camp (May)

May was good monts for my DAKAR preparation.

Early in the month I spend two full days in Algarve Portugal on my new Husaberg FE501-14. I was guiding a guest, Oden Eriksson from Jokkmokk Sweden, for Algarve Offroad so it was not race pace but still gave me 10 hrs in the saddle. It was also a good experience to navigate by a combination of tracks and way points on the GPS.

The guiding couldn’t have been that bad as Oden decided to sign up his company NUX as a sponsor for our DAKAR project. Thank you!

I was very close to reach my target of 20 training sessions during the month, I reached 19! I have notice a good increase of the fitness level, 30-35 min stints at the MX track is no problem and the scale is showing 98 kg:s

Rally Style Enduro 2 sessions/10 hrs

Swedish Enduro 3 sessions/3 hrs 40 min

MX  5 sessions/5 hrs 20 min

Running 6 sessions/3 hrs 45 min

Others 3 sessions/3 hrs 10 minutes

On the 16:th I filed my applications to ASO to participate in DAKAR 2015.

On th 13-15 of June you can visit us at Enduro World Cup in Enköping Sweden where we will a have stand and talk DAKAR and Rally Raid until your ears fall off!
